Meyer Vineyard
Napa Valley Syrah
Lots of dark berry, cassis and plum Flavors make this wine luscious up front and the coffee and cacao Flavors on the back end give this wine a nice complexity and depth, with mild oak and mild tannins.Because it's a 2004 or needs time to breath and one up, either decant or drink the next day after opening, this allows the mild bitter Flavors to mellow. The more drink it the more I really like it.

Jun 6th, 2015Smoky and floral. Unique combination. Had it in Yountville 2/26 at the Hestan tasting room. Liked it enough to bring a bottle home. Shared some over dinner of roast pork loin with Dijon glaze. Spectacular!
