This Younteville bomb smacks you with blueberries and blackberry jam up front mixed with Flavors of cassis, sweet baking spices in the middle and finishing extra long with Carmel and mocha Flavors. This wine is has bright cherry notes mixed integrated with great minerality and mild floral finishes. However, this is the first 2011 I have tasted with an district salinity. All the green notes in this wine are completely gone allowing the briny minerality to really show through. This Thomas River Brown wine is a great Napa Bordeaux that will only get better with time. — 9 years ago

This big Oakville cab displays blackberries, black currant and toasty oak. The tannins are well rounded and smooth but with more time this wine will be amazing, it's just a little young. Age another 3-5 years. — 9 years ago

A delicious 2012! This wine has an extremely long finish with soft rounded tannins and well balanced oak. The concentrated plum, black cherry, and blackberry Flavors upfront are balanced out well by hint of graphite, vanilla and rhubarb on the finish. — 9 years ago

This 2013 is first release ever for this well structured younteville cab. This hillside fruit is intense, inky and almost black in color balanced with volcanic minerality. Flavors of black fruit, cacao and lavender are predominant and french oak lays down a hint of vanilla on the palate. This wine needs sometime to breathe but will be spectacular in another 3-5years.
