Sep 10th, 2021Best QPR wine going! 1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Dark fruit, tar, and wood on the nose. Excellent depth and balance on the palate. A blend of Bordeaux and Napa comes through. Medium finish. Wish they still made this!

One of the best QPR wines in existence.
Similar to previous notes, but much nicer texture and more French influence.

After 5+ months in London drinking anything but US wines, this guy still impresses me! 30+ minute decant and could use more. Still young with years left, but no need to wait. Nice nose, that does have French attributes. Tar, Dark Cherry, and Slate on the palate. More OH than I would like and definitely possesses the typical American power, which I have honestly come to dislike after falling in love with it. Long finish! Awesome QPR! Try this, as I would love to hear other perspectives.

Nov 11th, 2018Awesome yet again! Powerful nose opens up the best QPR wine in the world. Deep purple color with big fruit (dark cherry, plum, etc.). More pepper and spice on the finish than other bottles, but that made it pair very well with the stuffed, bacon wrapped boar! Might benefit from a little decanting. Simply fantastic wine!!

Jun 10th, 2017Insane!! The best value you can find! Powerful nose with nice French, earthy tones. Inky, deep purple color and just coats the palate nicely. Excellent cherry fruit and depth make this an ideal wine for my liking. If you haven't tried this, you need to!!
