1hr+ decant. Definitely needs a decant! Dark red color with purple rims. Wine is dominated by vanilla, watermelon, and candied fruit. Medium depth. I actually thought it had some Pinot elements. Reminded me of the Chateau Philippe Le Hardi Montee Rouge which I love. This definitely was like candy and my first review of this wine. Last bottle of this vintage :(

May 7th, 2021Maybe an off bottle? Not anything like previous ones. Very green and tannic. Very little oak, but fairly thick. Not sure what to make of this.

Nov 18th, 2019Sad they aren’t making this any more :(. Always solid and excellent QPR. This had more vanilla and oak than usual, but did have nice texture. Inky with depth and medium+ finish.

Feb 23rd, 2019Dark red in color. Gigantic fruit on the nose. I get cherry and strawberries. Hits the palate like velvet and is so refined, with just enough power. Tastes like candy! Extremely nice finish! You can't find a better wine at this price point!!!!
