Tons of eucalyptus in the nose, light/medium velvet bodies with traces of slate/granite. Acidic finish. Held up beautifully over the years. I'lol let the 2008 go another 3-4 years before opening. #StrongIslandVino

Very tough out if the bottle with high acidity & tannins but with 20 mins of air it toned down nicely. Dark spicy fruits, still some acidity and medium oak makes for a drinkable Merlot better with heavier foods.
