Merkin Vineyards ‘Tarzan Red’ 2019: Medium-body. Medium tannins. Juicy taste. Consisting of 65% Tempranillo & 35% Garnacha, this Spanish-inspired wine bursts with fresh red fruits and other complex flavors of blackberry, chocolate, earth & oak. The finish was short & dry however very pleasant & drinkable. All in all, I’m loving these fun & unique Arizona wines and look forward to continuing my Southwest wine exploration.
