Unsung Hero Malbec

Outstanding for the price (Under $15).

RP scored this an 89 based on a price tag of $42. It's less than half that and it's a real wine, not a fruit bomb. It's got grip, earthy/leathery notes and dark fruit. Can even be put down a couple of years.

This red wine is full body and fruity finish. Is on the pallet. This wasn’t for me but still a quack it my wine and my partner really enjoyed it.

Nice, light on the tannins, smooth and very drinkable.

A Saturday night at home. Casual, shrimp on the grill with pesto pasta. Blown away by the forward blueberry fruit notes, tannic structure and loooong finish. Wow. And so affordable it's crazy. Malbec. Argentina. They just go together so well, yes?

Peppery, young. Dark fruit and good balance. Odd hint of leather and baking spices.

Malbec from Medrano fermented in barrel and tank aged in French Nadalie barriques for 12 months. The wine will perfectly compliment many good meat and chicken dishes. Alc. 13.8% by vol.

Better after bottle open a day.
