As I keep saying, this isn’t my favorite Melka wine. It comes as part of the care package...that’s why I don’t belong to the club any longer...just don’t like getting expensive stuff that isn’t my favorite. Doesn’t mean I don’t like his other wines. Had with Indian take away at out hotel.

Saw some good recent CT scores on this so thought it would be a fun wine for an event. Bad idea. Even with three hours in a decanter and another three open in the bottle, this was still a tannic beast. Beautiful Right Bank nose, but will try to wait at least 10 years before opening my last bottle.

Took awhile for the wine to open up. May have finished before it reached its potential. Had with over cooked prime rib.
