Thick, sweet and strong. Perfectly suitable for a pork dish or a devine cheese platter. This Earthy wine is for those with a well acquired taste, and for those who appreciate outstanding South African quality. Could not have asked for a better family shared wine

I said 2025 on my cellar tracker, and I should have stuck to it. Oh well. #festivalofbarnes

Quite elegant and Hermitage-like with its nuances of black pepper, dry blood, iron, smoked sausage, black olive tapenade, smoldering fireplace and Provencal herbs. No apparent heat or sweetness, there's an understated hint of bramble-coulis in the mid-palate. A gorgeous wine.
