I really wanted to like this wine. The label is ingenious and I have not had merlot for like ever. To top that it was 2012 California. So what went wrong? The wine dies slowly with time leaving this heady mess that’s weighing my taste buds with every sip. I want to give this bottle 10 for label and 4 for juice

Not sure Delectable is showing the right wine here. 72% Cab Franc, 20% Cab and three other grapes.
Dark, dense, chewy, a little young perhaps, needing some time to open up.
Cherries, grapes, violets, cedar, candied fruits...
