Meadowcroft
River Trace Grenache Blend
Deep purple in color with a wide purplish rim.
Sweet nose of black fruits, light oak, spices and lots of chocolates notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with black currants, blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, chocolates, vanilla, licorice, tobacco and light herbs.
Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty GSM blend from California. Nicely balanced and fruit forward.
Still young, but showing nice complexity already.
Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself as a sipping wine. A nice pop and pour kind of wine. Will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Paired nicely with a Charcuterie board of dried meats and cheeses. Would pair well with Lamb dishes.
A blend of 66% Grenache, 21% Syrah and 13% Mourvèdre. Aged in Hungarian oak barrels. A small production of only 2,600 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

A good quality wine that I would like to revisit in 3 years to see how it evolved.
This Californian Rhône blend is a good wine to pair with food. I paired it with cheeses and olives, but it was really nice with the Parmesan cheese.
