Smells like lemons and melons. Hint of the floral sweet pea and such of Viognier on the nose too. Flavors are melon meets orange slice. Plenty of bitter bite. A little like unoaked Chard, but zippier. Hints of whiskey (maybe whiskey sour). This is a very affordable delicious white. One of my first TX wines, but when in Rome (or Austin) drink as the Texans do…

Apr 7th, 2024Nose: apple, mineral. Taste: slightly oaky?, apple, lemon, stronger alcohol & tart finish. Slight white grape aftertaste? Rainbow lodge tasting.
