Estate Grown Lodi Zinfandel

Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, floral notes and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and jammy strawberry with floral, tea and spice. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, spice and a slight earthy spice character. Drink now, no aging benefit.

Deep ruby appearance. Light-medium nose initially - detected blackcurrent, cranberry, yeast and some anise/ clove. After swirling, the yeast and clove was more pronounced. The flavour intensity was surprisingly stronger than the nose, confirming what the nose detected with some vanilla, smoky notes. Delicious medium-full body balance of sweetness, high acidity, low tannins with a fairly long finish.

Medium-deep purple color.
Aromas of baked blueberry/blackberry, vanilla.
Dry. Flavors of baked blueberry/blackberry, raspberry, vanilla, licorice, cinnamon. Medium, velvety tannins.
