Dense, extracted nose of cassis and burnt toast. Mid palate is pure and viscous with blueberry jam and brown sugar notes. Squeaky clean and burly tannins interplay with bright acidity. This still has 10 years + in the tank! Excellent example from an outstanding producer.

This example is en-point. A textbook Napa example which is singing now. It presents with substantial notes of coffee, and blueberry pie. Regal tannins, supported by well balanced acidity. Displays weight and density on the palette. Finish extends and expands. No cellaring required.
