Nice expression of WA Syrah. Bold and meaty without going overboard on the oak.

Great aromas after a while in the glass, but tastes a bit overoaked.

I'm so digging this wine. All manner of savory teriyaki and seaweed that plays well with dark cherry and plum notes. Great acidity to temper the ripeness.

It's always fun to wake a sleeping giant! It does take time for this big boy to wake up so even with 11 years of aging this wine still has an easy 10-15 years more of maturing! I noticed a charcoal lined cigar box,smoked ham with tons of black truffle,almonds,earthy,with still ripe black raspberry and cherry fruits..Wow knock your socks off amazing!!!

Kinda stunning. 12 years old, sturdy, big and bold. Good fruit.
