Jan 3rd, 2024Yum! Exactly what you would expect from Carménère grapes prepared in the appasimento style. Its smokey but overly, sweet but not overly, and I was surprised how well the two factors paired together in what seems quite unusual. Would gladly drink on its own all the time ....

Apr 1st, 2020This is a full well rounded red that isn’t too heavily smoked like some Carmeneres. It’s slightly sweet and lusciously fruity but balanced by the peppery twang and the most amazing deeply purple colour. Would gladly drink with a meaty meal or warm by the fire.
