Was super excited to crack open this bottle, we are (mainly Greg) huge fans of late harvests, straw wine, etc. Beautiful golden yellow straight out the bottle. A few inches about the glass you get attacked by sweet apricots, and some white floral notes. As it opened up there was a slight toasty smell as well as a ton of honeysuckle. Smooth palate, lots of honeysuckle, perfume, apricot, golden pears. Well rounded and not very syrupy or thick. Slight nuttiness and well integrated acidity (could just me masked by the RS). Definitely smelt thicker than it was. Nice complexity and a real treat! Drink till 2030.

Not my normal go to but fun to try! It was like a party of apricots and honey and I was invited! Definitely on the sweet side. Paired it with Thanksgiving dinner and was yummy with balancing fried turkey and sweet potatoes!
