Aromatics of bright red cherries which extend through to the crunchy palate. Made for drinking in its youth. Mike Bennie pretty much sums it up by saying “right in the zone of complexity and drinkability”. Barb thought too light. Probably a better summer drink than the middle of winter.

The wine is clear and bright with a medium ruby colour.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium+ intensity aromas of white pepper, fresh red currants, acid strawberries, liquorice, cedar and hints of lavender.

The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium+ refreshing acidity. It has velvety tannins and a medium+ well-integrated alcohol. It has a medium body and medium+ intensity flavours. The finish is medium+.

It is a very good quality wine with a harmonious balance between acidity, alcohol, tannic structure and fruit concentration. It is persistent and it shows finesse, but it lacks a bit of complexity.

So much spice and everything nice.
Just going for gold with the everyday drinkers at the moment.

Tasted over 2 days - loved it on both days. One of the more Burgundian Oz pinots that I have tasted.

Sage and white pepper on the nose. Silken lingonberry and morello cherry and strawberry pop tart filling. Absolutely seductive, I’m interested in his whole bunch stuff cause this texture is a memory foam pillow
