Rich tannin, Bordeaux like qualities, but still so California.

1995 - big and powerful upon open. Preferred it much more after 2+ hour decant. Core nose unmistakably Mayacamas. Love these wines

Really great acid. Opened up really nicely but ultimately was lacking fruit

This was a great celebration wine! Had the brett thing happening, but I really love that!! We got cherry and raspberry that fill up the mouth and some smooth minerality. Kind of a perfect meeting point of dry and wet. ... After an hour it opened up soooooo beautifully. Wow! Love!
