Okay...shit is getting real at Mayacamas these days. This was easily one of the more enjoyable new world Chardonnay’s I’ve had in a long time. Citrus, tropical fruits, marzipan, minerals...all presented with such a cool confidence. This wine has personality that causes you to take notice due to its affability and then delivers over and over. Bravo.

Called Cote d'Or and am quite happy with that since Mayacamas tends to be very old world in style.

Best Napa Valley Chardonnay in many moons. This wine was once my birthday wine every year. Time to get back on track? Lemon custard, lemon zest. Tart balance. Spot on. Tart and rich at the same time.

Tasting at the breathtaking Mayacamas Vineyard. Bright, clean, crisp, lots of citrus, grapefruit, cantaloupe and hint of vanilla. Razor sharp acidity. Reminds me of Chablis Grand Crus. Slight bitter finish. One of the best Napa Chardonnay I've ever had. 14.25% alc. 2015 vintage

A smooth unoaked Chardoney. Subtle peaches and pears. We did not love it.

Oh happy day. Just my style and coming fully into its own. Beautiful nose of juicy just-ripe green orchard fruit and lemon. Buttercream and marcona almonds. Exuberant acid, focused, sunshiny, fleeting body despite 14.2%.

Lovely in its balance and delineated fruit profile. Lemon pith, guava skin, and almond with a slight yet clean roundness.
