Always such a killer rose and this year is a doozy. With boundless energy and freshness this is brilliant. Might like more than e and m rose now. Of courts so much less is made. Nose of fresh mid season cherries, some watermelon, citrus, florals, a sense of roundness and richness as well but leads to a palate that is so close to a red wine but still has rose credentials. Amazing chewy tannins and ridiculous freshness and energetic minerality. So dense and lithe. Amazingly building finish. Sweet Pinot fruit. Just terrific.

Rosie is serious like a red German Spat, with all the complexity, layers, minerals, a dial back in earthiness in lieu of a little wooded fruit. Beautiful to stare through. Glowing crimson ruby with browned edges. Aromas are complex. Cherry watermelon and rose petals. Serious Rose' and flexing without moving into the dense syrupy side of things.
