Nicely aromatic and full bodied but with integrated alcohol, out of the bottle this was angular and dominated by a quinine bitter note, but after 30 minutes was full of yellow and red apples, vanilla, lemon, sweet oyster shell, and smoked sea salt--a pleasing combo of new world ripeness and a Burgundian sense of things in what has become a favorite grape of mine. With more acid this could go longer, but not worth it to risk it.
