dark ruby with violet overtones; aromatic, violets, raspberry, plum, earth, cedar; tart cherry skins, stony minerality, finishing with nice tannic grip; light bodied, crunchy acidity, moderate gritty tannins, 12% ABV; made from 100% Schioppettino from 2016 and 2017 vintages, sourced from their home vineyard in Western Oak Knoll area of Napa Valley, destemmed and crushed, fermented in very small stainless steel tanks, pressed after 2 weeks on the skins, aged in neutral barrels; p$50
