Good Sauvignon Blanc but expensive at $45 for Sauvignon Blanc and not comparable to a similarly priced New Zealand or Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Nice citrus flavors in the attack. although lemon dominates a little too much. The finish is more subtle with peach notes.

Citrus fruits and lychee balanced with wet stone and minerals; medium body and sophisticated finish.

This Sauvignon blanc has the perfect balance of citrus and fruit, without being too overpowering or sweet. It is crisp, and leaves a lovely white floral aftertaste.

This wine is perfect for a hot summer day. The citrus notes make this easy to drink, and includes light notes of guava and grapefruit that pair nicely with the herbs included. Refreshing, complex, and delicious.

Complexity! So many Sauvignon Blancs have the same features. This wine gives you all the taste you love with added dimension. Fermentation in concrete ads softness to this wine while keeping the traditional acidity one expects from a Sauvignon Blanc. Lychee, melon and lemon curd on the palate. My go to wine with shellfish.

Crisp, complex, rich flavors of pineapple and guava. Lots of citrus that softens from the concrete

Defiantly a dense full taste of sweeter black fruit.

This wine is so energetic and bright. I love the citrusy taste. It reminds me of the fresh feeling of biting into a juicy orange! Anything but flat. Love love love.

I’m always on the hunt for my next favorite Sauvignon Blanc and I think I may have found it. The citrus-forward notes go beyond grapefruit to include more interesting flavors of pineapple, guava, and play off the stone and herb notes nicely. All-around solid wine with good body and satisfying complexity.

Sauvignon Blanc is my “go to” white wine. I enjoy a crisp, citrus, bright glass of wine. The 2019 Matthews Reserve Sav. Blanc has all of these characteristics due to the 10 months of aging in concrete egg.
