I would rate this wine off the chart if I could. The best wine I have tasted all year! Smooth with a very deliberate and complex delivery. After aging in French Oak for 26 months, this wine is simply superb! I am a Cabernet fan and this wine moves to the top of my CAB list!!!! — 4 years ago

Sauvignon Blanc is my “go to” white wine. I enjoy a crisp, citrus, bright glass of wine. The 2019 Matthews Reserve Sav. Blanc has all of these characteristics due to the 10 months of aging in concrete egg. — 4 years ago

2015 Matthews Claret is rich in spices, blackberries, and extremely smooth in texture. I never buy just one bottle. I keep a vertical of the claret wines in my cellar and add additional bottles each year. — 4 years ago

The Matthews 2017 Cuvee is delicious! It is a special gem that stands way above your average Cuvee. Predominantly Merlot, with the addition of Cab Franc and Cab Sav. rounds out the flavor. Easy drinking, smooth wine. — 4 years ago

2017 Matthews Reserve Cab Franc is big and bold. Plums, black currants are dominant. The big finish keeps you wanting more. Perfect pairing with a good steak. A must have for heavy dark wine lovers. That’s me!!! — 4 years ago
