Sauvignon Blanc is my “go to” white wine. I enjoy a crisp, citrus, bright glass of wine. The 2019 Matthews Reserve Sav. Blanc has all of these characteristics due to the 10 months of aging in concrete egg. — 4 years ago
2015 Matthews Claret is rich in spices, blackberries, and extremely smooth in texture. I never buy just one bottle. I keep a vertical of the claret wines in my cellar and add additional bottles each year. — 4 years ago
2017 Tenor Malbec is a winner! You know when you taste an amazing wine that checks off all the boxes: complex in flavor, rich in body, dark in color, taste that lingers....that is this Malbec. Very impressive from the first sip. — 4 years ago
The Matthews 2017 Cuvee is delicious! It is a special gem that stands way above your average Cuvee. Predominantly Merlot, with the addition of Cab Franc and Cab Sav. rounds out the flavor. Easy drinking, smooth wine. — 4 years ago
Love this wine ! Rich, dark, complex, full of fruit and easy to drink. Prefer 2018 over 2017, but really enjoy both. Another great blend from Matthews winery — 4 years ago
2017 Matthews Reserve Cab Franc is big and bold. Plums, black currants are dominant. The big finish keeps you wanting more. Perfect pairing with a good steak. A must have for heavy dark wine lovers. That’s me!!! — 4 years ago
2019 Matthews Rise is a lovely bottle of wine. Not just a summer Rose! This 100% Cab Franc is dark pink in color and is as impressive to the eye, as it is to taste. All year long Rose. — 4 years ago
This 2017 Reserve Merlot is hands down the best Merlot wine I have ever had. The flavor is bright, packed with lots of fruit flavors, and remarkably smooth. Drinks like a very expensive bottle of wine . — 4 years ago
This predominantly Cab-blend is another masterpiece from Matthews. Year after year, the Claret wine keeps getting better! Deep red, complex in texture. You will be a fan whether you drink it now or years from now . — 4 years ago

I would rate this wine off the chart if I could. The best wine I have tasted all year! Smooth with a very deliberate and complex delivery. After aging in French Oak for 26 months, this wine is simply superb! I am a Cabernet fan and this wine moves to the top of my CAB list!!!! — 4 years ago
