Matt Parish
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
A superlative Summer red, this Cabernet is medium bodied, silky smooth on the tongue, and very fruit-forward, sporting blueberry, black cherry, and pleasant currant flavors. I cannot stop drinking this elixir but I know I should save some for aging. Chill to around 62 degrees for optimal flavor.

May 29th, 2016“Little dust on the bottle” for this one and it was still very good. Almost a decade on this and it still has plenty of berry flavor that has now blended with some earth tones, softer tannins and very smooth drinking.

Apr 10th, 2023Have several bottles of vintages from 2013 through 2018. Pull one out occasionally and am never disappointed- this time was no different.

May 10th, 2021Had this over several nights. Enjoyed each time. Not overly complex but dark berry fruit on the nose (raspberry and even a little cherry).

Jul 10th, 2020Started with this bottle tonight and continue to enjoy the 2013 and 2014 vintages. Classify this as “easy drinking” Cab.

Jul 21st, 2019This 2014 does get better with time. Let it open for only 20-30 minutes and thoroughly enjoyed the dark fruit, medium tannins and slight velvet in the mid palate.

Nov 5th, 2018A fan of Matt Parish wine and this was a very enjoyable magnum. What I would classify as a "softer" Cab, very fruit forward that opened up nicely after a couple hours decanting. Medium tannins which was nice for a young Cab like this.
