A deep golden straw color leaps from the glass with heady aromas of apricots, white peaches, dried pineapple, lilacs, vanilla, clove and a touch of flint. Densely packed, round and seamless on the palate the wine is stuffed with an array of stone and tropical fruits crossed with a racy acidity and an über long finish!

Jul 3rd, 2021I like this wine it has absolutely beautiful aromatics spiced apricot/ peach orange zest in the mouth very viscous (med +bodied )on the down side acid is relatively low and the alcohol is at 15% may not have picked it out as Condrieu overall don’t hate just wish they would have picked earlier

I am so in love with this wine. One of the most beautiful representations of Viognier in such a romantic form. Viscosity that gives it the curves of Marilyn Monroe and the acidity of Audrey Hepburn! Rich, floral, succulent and nothing less than honeyed nectarine and honeysuckle. And a saline-esk mineral finish that has you flirting with the next sip. Thank you Gangloff, thank you!

Brilliant aromas of tropical and stone fruits with a spicy undertone. Palate is immense without being heavy due to the incredible acidity. Palate carries the same fruit and spice of the nose but there is also a powerful salinity in the wine that screams for food. An amazing wine of depth and power wrapped in the hedonism of Condrieu.

Oxidized one moment, alive the next. Umami, sherry aromatics, ginger, herbs. It went from viscous and dull to bright, spiced and herbal then back...intriguing to taste at such an age.
