2023 was too tannic, with no fruit taste at all and with a puckery finish. Will not buy again. Sorry

Dark and opaque in there. Purple urple. Smells musky, dense and juicy. Hints of wet gravel and crushed shrubbery. Flavors are juicy and big. Jam from NW blackberries. Tarts with cherry and berry in them. Very chewy tannins. But voluptuous too. Hints of Malbec extracted grape Kool-aide. This is steak or burger wine. Maybe a meat lovers pizza. Bit more fruit bombed than some of my fav Matchbook reds, but this is great value.

Inky purple, big luscious body with so much ripe black fruit, black pepper tannins and a good bit of acid too. Complex and balanced.
