Oct 8th, 2015Lots of VA when opened, mostly blew off. Classic southern italian, thought I figured it would be a little cleaner winemaking from Mastrobernardino. Dirty, on the edge of being too much.

2004 Vintage on December 12, 2005.
Red sour cherry. Tobacco/cigar. Cedar. Cocoa. Well structured. Tannins are settling well. Sour red fruit, green capsicum, leather and tobacco.
Medium to long finish.
If I had another bottle I would hold until 2018/19.
