Base nose is cherry with licorice overtones and a stony note. High acid. Cherry predominant on palate. Very serious for Dolcetto.

The Italian answer to Beaujolais, not much nose, light and fruit forward, soft with fine tannins finishing grippy. Extremely pleasant and would work really well with white bean dish such as cassoulet or ribollita.

Tart, chewy, very yummy with some petite steaks and feta.

PNP after shoveling the driveway. Inviting nose with dry cocoa powder prominent. This wine drinks like Gamay. Sour, over ripe strawberries, tangy raspberries, a bit of chalky tannins that are short lived. Minus 1 point for a metallic bitterness on the finish.

Floral nose, violets and orange rind. Bright clean palate. Enough depth and complexity. Perfect $20 pizza wine.
