Crunchy. Oyster shells, citrus zest, and sea salt on the nose. The pallet is bright and lively, almost with a bit of effervescence which tingles your tongue. Great tension between the acid, citrus and the richer, more fruit forward notes. Pure old world and I love it.

Mar 31st, 2018Light golden hue. Honeysuckle, green apple, and pear on the nose. Light bodied with good acidity, minerality, and 13.5% alcohol. Blend of 43% Tocai Friulano, 29% Ribolla Gialla, and 28% Chardonnay similar to their Annia bottling but made with fruit from Friuli in collaboration with Ronco del Gnemiz Winery located in far eastern Italy near the Slovenian border. This is the second vintage of this wine. $30.
