Not SB. New Maryam + Company. This one 80% Muscat. 20% Cortese. Closer to Massican Gemina than other Maryam + Company with Muscat and SB. Mineral driven yellow fruit, with funky herbal finish. Unique. Opens up to peach and herbal garden. This one is better to my taste.

This vintage is not a blend but 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Bright and light yellow/gold in the glass. Not much aroma initially, but the wine carries quite a punchy attack of lively lemon/lime with a floral bouquet wafting as it warms in the glass. Medium weight, slight viscus roundness and some slight bitter stem on the finish that elevates the wine rather than diminish. I don’t drink much SB these days, but it comes across as fully new-world and quite pleasant as a mid-week 5:00 pm aperitif. Long limey finish.
