Serègo Alighieri Possessioni Rosso Verona Corvina Blend

Elegant if boring label. Not familiar with the Corvina grape. Hint rusty to the edge of the maroon color. Aroma is tart berry stuff. Little leather and earth. Some vague vegetal aroma as well. Flavors are somewhat sharp and acidic, but of raspberry and black cherry juice in there too. Chewy tannins of Italy are also represented. This is an Italian style wine that needs food to meet the tannins and acids. Interested in a bit fancier and finer Corvina to see how the rose and blood orange might be present to round things up a bit.

Very respectable table wine. Corvina blend, real nice earth, leather, tobacco.

Senti muito tempero. Bastante madeira e um pouco álcool, mas de uma secura bem legal. Tem um cheiro que eu acho muito fechado, muito intenso, me lembra o cheiro de fruta bem madura ou seca. Adstringente, mas tem uma pequena refrescância dos temperos. Sem doçura nenhuma.
