Medium bright ruby colour seems to have lots of youthful energy. Light pleasant aroma of sour cherry, raisin, celery and wet leaves. Dry on the palate with medium body and smooth tannin supporting the lively acidity and minerality. More flavours of sour cherry and raisin on the palate, not too strong and not too light. It is a pleasantly elegant wine to drink in the now.

Second Tasting of the same bottle: interestingly, the aroma became dominated by oaky vanilla with underlying sour cherry blackberry blueberry and prune. Somehow all the elements came together overnight and made it more balanced and layered. It is still elegant but has more depth than first opened. Perhaps I should have aerated it a bit longer before drinking.

Can't beat this fab value, under $15! Juicy w/ soft tannins & mouthwatering acidity...and buckets of wild berries.

Deep ruby, deep dark black cherries on nose which continues on the palate. Dry, gentle tannins with punchy fruit.
Full bodied red beefed up by drying some of the grapes to increase the concentration.

Once this beauty opened up, some incredible dark cherry flavors were evident...wow.

Delicious red. Paired it with grilled flank steak, which really brought out the flavor of the wine.

A little on the dry side... I prefer a bit fruitier. Still good though!

I just really like drinking this masi. Or whatever it is. It really hits the spot after work, while I'm cutting garlic for dinner. It's sharp and dry. I actually have no idea what that last sentence meant, but I definitely recommend it.

Very smooth with lots of dark fruit and perhaps raisin. Wonderful smell although not as deep a smell. A great wine that is very easy to drink. Highly recommend.
