Dark, glass-clinging reddish purple. Inviting nose of blueberry-plum compote. Echoed in the full bodied palate which adds a hint of dark cocoa and a shade of baseball bat, the latter of course from friendly, medium tannins. Medium acidity. A wee bit hot (though just 14.5%) so decant to let the alcohol blow off. Otherwise, a very good example of the Argentinian style of Malbec that's ready to take on the steak. Drink now through 2028 with only slight development.
