Something missing from this wine at the front of the palette, perhaps acidity, I'm not a fan as the result is a cordial sweet light wine. It's got an interesting red brown colour which I've only seen from mature vintages. Nose is fruity as is the rest of the flavour profile. Also anyone putting down "1949" as the vintage, you're very likely, very mistaken. 1949 is part of the brand, look at the back label for the vintage.

If you like the rich, concentrated style, this one is nice. Plum jam galore. 14,5 alcohol though.
