Eye opener. This winemaker has great vines and the chops to make them into great wines. Not as dusty and elegant as Clos Erasmus... But then again, it's 1/8th the price! Fruit driven masculine red from Prioriat.

August 17, 2019. Carl visits MO. 50% Garnatxa, 20% Syrah, 10% Caranyana, 10%Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot. Luscious Priorat. Mellow tannins, perfect drinking now.

Young, pungent both in the nose and palate, dark berry, powerful dark fruit. Wood, dried herb, spice. Lovely!

A lovely, delicious yet powerful Priorat. Massive dark cherries palate and a well rounded equilibrium that keeps getting better as the wine breathes.
