Martinet Bru Priorat Garnacha Syrah
Garnet shade, dry, full bodied, graphite and mild pencil shavings, black pepper and black fruit on the nose. Really intense tannins and high alcohol a lot of the tannins contributed from both the oak and grape must. With a really heavy red meat dish this could work but something with BIG flavor. Aged hard cheese would stand up to it as well. Great stuff but not much my style. Maybe a good anchor in a wine tasting.
