May 26th, 2017Priorato at a reasonable price: what a treat! Inky opaque infant of a wine, stunning nose of perfectly ripe red fruit, and distinct minerality. Tight then unfolded to show tobacco, smoke pepper mocha w/dusty edges - solid structure w/well-integrated tannins and very lo acid. Very smooth on finish w/long persistent red fruit finish
