A bit closed at the moment. Remember tasting this at the domaine a few years ago and it was great. Will need a few more years to come around again. Tannin and acidity to last!

2011. Love those herbal Languedoc aromatics, like ripe plums rubbed with herbes de Provence and then grilled over hardwood. Terroir.

Pas emballé, déçu par un nez trop réduit, malgré le shaker. À regoûter demain.

Good solid gsm not especially spectacular but solid

Cheese and Wine

Blackberry compote, black olives, green peppercorns, violets, garrigue. Lively fresh acidity, juicy-texture, medium bodied, minimal tannin presence, fruity-floral slightly herbal finish. Acid driven, much lighter than expected on the palate.

Licorice, herbs and olive on the nose. Beefy tannins, full body and a barrel of fruit. Big one.

Harsh nose, got better after it opened up but still spicy

Black fig jam, garrigue, boysenberry, grape concentrate, violets, slight barnyard, haystack, black peppercorns. Well rounded acidity, minimal velvet tannin presence, elegant silky texture, medium bodied, juicy/smoky/slightly bitter finish. Tons of character. Biodynamic, equal parts Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan.
