Les Baux-de-Provence Grenache Blend

I love this estate and miss representing it here in Chicago. Good thing I have old vintages in our cellar :)

Pleasant to drink in a casual basis. Medium dark fruits, lots of spice, black pepper, anise, coffee grinds, violets and dry rose petals.

Purposefully sought out wine known to be brettanomyces infected. Not that great. Quite the phenolic funk that's on the burnt rubbery side of smoke. Reminds me a fair bit of rustic French cider. Just not really my thing.

Full tasting but not for a fast consumption

Organic red Provence wine. Dry but soft and a nice finish with some various floral notes.
