Top Notes For
2012 vintage. 100% Grenache Noir from very old vines, planted in 1914. Aged partly (20%) in new oak. Not overly sweet, with amazing freshness, complexity, and an intriguing minerality. Serious length too. Great value.

Nose: black berries, sherry-like flavours but more subtle than the “vintage reserve”; bit of gooseberry, slightly more herbal and gentle wood aromas.
Palate: very very delicate flavours, more subtle... everything is merged together here.. all in its right place, great harmony. More coalesced flavours. Tastes of ripe grape berries.
