Clear, deep ruby in appearance.
The nose is a clean blend of medium (+) aroma intensity. Notes of red fruit (strawberry, cranberry) mixed with vanilla and clove from oak.
The palate is dry with medium (+) acid and alcohol. The tannins are medium (+) too but they are relatively smooth. The wine is full bodied and has a medium flavour intensity. The flavours are the same as the nose but I feel you can taste the cooked fruit better. Finish is medium (+).
Good wine but could benefit with bottle age.
