Who says Zinfandel can’t age. This wine is spectacular. Look at the alcohol.

BBQ & Zin night!

The most decadent of the zins tonight. It was high octane without being overboard. It was full bodied without being flabby. Ripe black and blue fruits in the nose with sandalwood and a baked cherry pie & toasted oak finish. Light on the pepper/spice. Drinking great now with plenty of life ahead.

Really poor version of Jackass.....has a great nose but terrible balance and a really strange finish that is almost all heat and no polish--- very disappointing from a great Zin maker....

Wow! 17% abv. Couldn't pick up varietal characteristics. I feel like a" jackass" for thinking it was a port in a tasting. Not my style and not a fan!
