What a nose! Fruit, flowers, vines, and sunshine. Actually, only complaint was it was a little hot on alcohol. Left half a bottle for two nights later and that issue smoothed out but some of the powerful nose faded. On sale so going back for another ( 2nd bottle a few weeks later was consistent).

Super good Pinot. More on the hedonistic side of things but just short of going over the top. Smells of pomegranate, cranberry, and black cherry dragged through a newly paved tarry road. Tastes like black pepper and watermelon jolly rancher with good rounded mid palate.

2010 & 2011 tasted together over 3 nights. The 2010 showed well out of the gate with an explosive nose. The '11 was initially muted but hit its stride the second and 3rd night when the '10 already started to fade. Nose and palette were similar. Just displayed their characteristics at different times. Fun, interesting experiment... What we must do for science!

Not sure why it was on sale @ #lastbottle for $19.00. Well balanced juice, a good example of California pinot
