Terrific nose of lemon curd, minerals, smoke, crushed rocks, some light butter notes and lime zest. Some hints of fleshy citrus fruits as well. Gorgeous and so clean. Palate is energetic and steely with lots of acid and linearity. Juicy apple and citrus fruit and a long mineral finish. Needs air to unwind and I will be back. Terrific concentration and so salty on the finish with intriguing iodine notes on the mid palate. Really juicy ash coming together so quickly as it aerates. So harmonious. After this airs it gets a nice backbone and some elegant sweet wood in the mid palate. Now the finesse comes in spades and this is a 9.6 9.4 to 9.6 in 4 hours.

Seductive nose. Like a buttery, pillowy yellow tropical mystery fruit. A little bit like guava. Medium-light body, transparent, and the oak is still prominent though nicely done. This is very young, won’t touch my next bottle for another 3 yrs

Gorgeous nose. Iodine, saline and hazelnuts. Also lime blossom. Faint hint of citrus and stone fruits. Exceptional minerality. Super elegant and intense with superb concentration and focus. Salty finish with profound acidity. Really evocative nose that shows a sense of place. Palate has terrific finesse. More than 19. 20 was a wash because of the fires. Long finish and stellar balance. Wow. Almost a 9.5. Really focused and linear. Yes this was a 9.5.

Pretty flippin’ serious wine. Rich (for a wine that was probably picked around 20 brix) but not enough for it to be cloying or heavy. Flavors are not particularly fruity; some hazelnut and lemon oil that will probably go to that fermenty hay character with some bottle age. There’s some noticeable tannin too, some of which I think is wood-derived but it gives the wine grip. The weight (alcohol x ph x acid) is perfect. White burgundy was my favorite wine in the world and I’m spending my dollars and cellar space on OR Chardonnay because you’d spend a lot of money to get something this good from Burgundy.

Gorgeous nose of iodine, sweet wood, dark forest, herbs, woodland berries, green apple, salt and more. Palate is so tangy with meyer lemon, lime flesh and so much minerality. Like licking a stone on the finish and also has terrific sucrosity. Sweet tree bark on the nose now and also morning dew and flowers. Terrific inner mouth aromas and great concentration and sapidity. Long, mineral finish and this will open and I am here for the ride. Gets deeper with structure as it airs. Amazing finish. Potentially the best vineyard for Chardonnay in all of the Willamette Valley. After 11 hours open this is singing. Nose has wet moss, mint, hickory, saline and alpine scents. Palate is ripe, chewy, rich and energetic.

Nose is so clean and pure. Smells like a scene in nature. Tree bark, wet soil, minerals galore. Another Burgundy ringer. Puligny for sure. Haunting complexity. Aromas just float on top of the glass. Wow. Rainwater. A pond. Moss. This nose is everything. Mint, fresh herbs. Nope I get barely any fruit which is awesome. This is a true vin de terroir. Wow. Opulent yet incisive and super pure. This is iodine city. This is so so Puligny. The iodine is the dead giveaway. What a stunning wine. As it aerates the complexity gets exponentially better. Nose is iodine city. This is so elite. Awesome concentration and purity. So complex and so compact. The minerality on this wine is insane. Holy shit. So clean on the finish. Just effortless and elite Chardonnay. What a finish!

While I love my local Chardonnay this guy is the hands down best domestic Chardonnay I've had in 2025. It has everything you could ask for - elegant fruit, balanced acid, silky texture without being insipid, and deep stone and mineral like you just dunked your head into a glacial stream. This is awesome stuff and I recommend you seek it out.

Nose: peach apple. Lovely as it opens. White flowers an hour in.

Palate: silky. Elegant. Very bright. Green apple. No oak. Very good deliciousness. Minerals as it opens.

Great finish. Long. Bright.

Burgundian in approach but alt burgundy in flavor profile. A wonderful addition to the cellar.
