Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe juicy berry fruits, herbs & sweet spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry & black currant with vanilla oak and earthy notes. Well balanced, fine tannins medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla notes and spice! Nice now and short-term aging potential.

Smells lovely - finessed fruits

Classic Cali wine here - precise fruits, Cherry, raspberry, crab apple. Focused, with little (thankfully) of that new oak vanillin. Gripping tannins play well with the cran acidity. Lingers on for a loooong time.
11th anniversary wine for me, and the Mrs.

Classic big fruit tasting room Napa cab. I actually really like this because it represents the big fruit and oak wines of the past 25ish years. Cedar, currant jam, berries, baking spice.

Marvelous wine; a blend of AVA'S between Stag's Leap, and Diamond Mountain, and as expected, the 14's are great and will get much better in years to come. Big chewy tannins, loads of black plum and red currant, espresso, gravel mineral, and a very lingering finish. A little less chocolatey rich compared to other vintages, which is a nice refresher.

Finally opened the magnum that was a gift from Courtney benham himself.. lovely aromatics of lavender, graphite, plum, and black raspberry. Definitely a more feminine style as other users have mentioned compared to previous vintages. Lush, round body with more blue fruits and a silky rich mouthfeel. Very enjoyable Napa Cabernet.
