Good Pinot with balance and constrained fruit. Drinks nicely right after opening.

Impressive. A smokey, complex, cola nose, gives way to a bold, expansive palate. Light on its feet, yet rugged and complex. Cinnamon and cloves compliment sour cherries. Softened with air. For a sub $18 pinot, it’s tough to beat.

First CA PN in some time for me. Balanced and fruit forward with surprising complexity for the price point. Light minimal smoke and coppery nose. Dark purple/red core. Sharp cherries super forward followed by a nice mix of light spice and cinnamon. Really digging the finish with cola and a neat lingering dark bite. This surprised me. Profiles as a DH OR PN (yup! I wrote that that way) for me but it did soften as others wrote. Med plus body and sky high acidity. I got an amazing price on this so I have a few. Nice drinking while I hopefully wait for my prizes to age. Good for me (and my wife).

not as full bodied as most, bitterness at the end with very little to no burn. Acceptable for price, however, it shows how corrupt the rating system is among various people.

Very smooth and non-earthy for a Pinot Noir.
