Wow, brand new bottling and a stunning one at that. Santa Cruz Mountains, bald mountain vineyard that is known for minerality and complexity, and this does not disappoint. The nose is rich with a werther's original-like caramel note as well as some peach skin.. lovely aromatics all around. The palate is firm and rich, but retains some zingy acidity, loads of cream, and a lingering mineral-driven finish.. impressive bottle - a standout for $25.

Jan 30th, 2016Color: Pale golden to golden yellow. Nose: moderate toasted honey, ripe yellow apples, guava, pineapple, lemongrass and some earthiness. Palate: dry, medium-full body, fresh acidity, and rich texture. Nice tropical and tree fruit flavors with a buttery edge. Finish is long.
