Martin Ray Vineyards & Winery
Reserve Angeline Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc
Sonoma County, California, USA
Solid domestic SB. Enough acid to keep the wine going but not enough to be zippy. Fruity, but close enough to dry. Plush textured.

Oct 4th, 2016Light nose, well balance, drinks well cold or room temperature. Good fruit in mouth. Not overpowering.

Nov 22nd, 2017Lighter in color; smell has a hint of coconut; overall taste a little too acidic for me, with a finish that's fresh and a little fruity.
I'm drinking it by itself but may be better if paired with certain foods.

Not normally a white wine guy, this one really went well with our grilled fish dinner. Very satisfying. Buy again.

Jun 4th, 2017I'm new to wine tasting so this review probably isn't fair. But this wine is exactly the reason I've not gotten in to wines before now. This is acidic as hell both initially and 10 seconds after swallowing. Not enjoyable, not going to finish it. Wasted $10.
